Service Description: Parking Services deal with parking enforcement issues over the Island including pay and display locations and on street parking contraventions. Priority areas are usually those where illegally parked vehicles cause safety issues, congestion and also slow down other road users. Parking services also deal with a variety of parking permits for various schemes over the Island.

Question: What are the parking restrictions in the Heights car park?

Answer: The Heights is a pay and display car park between the hours of 8am to 6pm, 7 days a week. A ticket can be obtained from the machine to allow up to 2 hours free parking, if a longer period is required, the relevant ticket should be obtained from the machine. Only one free ticket will be granted as valid during any chargeable period. Alternatively, users of the Heights are able to obtain a 2 hour ticket from the machine and then visit reception and upon request, an additional hours 'permit' will be given and is to be displayed in the vehicle alongside the 2 hour ticket.
Long stay permits, 200m residents permits, staff permits and tourist permits are permitted within this car park and disabled badge holders will be granted 8 hours maximum stay providing that the blue badge is clearly displayed.
