Your FAQ

Question: Will a business that got three stars get a rating of ‘3’ in the national scheme?

Answer: The way in which ratings are calculated from inspection scores differs slightly from the Isle of Wight Council’s previous 0-5 star scheme. For the vast majority of businesses, their new food hygiene rating will remain the same (albeit numerically displayed), though for a small number the rating will change at the time we switch to the national scheme. - Related Link
