Answer: The Isle of Wight Council currently has an embargo on the introduction of any new parking restrictions unless deemed essential on road safety grounds and supported by the Police. However, if you still wish to request restrictions, please put your request in writing with:- an explanation of why you want the lines - a description of where you want the lines (name of road, junction, town) - and supporting evidence.
