Your FAQ

Question: Are civil partnership ceremonies available on the Isle of Wight?

Answer: The Civil Partnership Bill became law on 5th December 2005. A Civil Partnership Ceremony can take place 16 days after giving notice or up to 1 year from the date that notice is given. The civil partnership follows similar lines to civil marriages and they have to supply the same documents. The Ceremony can be held in the Register Office or at any of our licensed venues.
