Your FAQ

Question: What if I do not proceed with the construction of a vehicle pavement crossing?

Answer: When vehicles continually cross un-strengthened pavements they can cause damage which may lead tp pedestrians tripping and injuring themselves. The Council has a duty to keep pavements safe, and can serve a formal notice under the Highways act 1980. This allows the Council to construct a vehicle crossing compulsorily at the property owners expense.
