Your FAQ

Question: How do I dispose of a small quantity of bonded asbestos I have after carrying out DIY on my own home?

Answer: The Council provides a facility for householders to dispose of small amounts of bonded asbestos which they have as a result of carrying out minor maintenance on their own home. Contact Highways Operational Support 823777 or [email protected] for further information and for the relevant paper work. There is a charge for this service.

If a householder has employed the services of a builder or tradesman to carry out such maintenance the waste must be disposed of as commercial waste.
