Question: What if a person is providing care for someone they live with

Answer: The person cannot be a spouse or partner of the person they are caring for. They must live in the same dwelling as the person they are caring for, who must be in receipt of higher rate of attendance allowance, or highest rate of care component of Disability Living Allowance or highest determinable rate of disablement pension or increase in constant Attendance Allowance. This is dependant on the number of people residing in the property
