Your FAQ

Question: Is there a fee for the authority to respond to an adoption enquiry?

Answer: Yes. We charge £17.50 per address to respond in any written format to an enquiry relating to adoption. This fee is due in advance and cheques should be made payable to the Isle of Wight Council and attached to your letter. However, we do not charge to respond verbally. Adoption plans are available to view by the public by appointment only. To book an appointment please contact Highways Development Control on (01983) 823777.
