Your FAQ

Question: I have a high hedge, must I cut it down to 2 metres?

Answer: Not necessarily. There is no legislation against having a high hedge. It is only when a neighbour brings a complaint to the Council that they may require the owner to reduce the hedge. 2 metres is the lowest the Council can ask for, it may only require a reduction that will not necessarily be as low as 2 metres but will remedy the problem.
