School Admissions


Service Description: The School Admissions Service co-ordinates school admissions for the Isle of Wight. The Isle of Wight has 49 community, foundation, church aided and academy schools. There are: 41 primary schools (for pupils aged 4 to 11); 6 secondary schools (for pupils aged 11 to 19); 2 mixed-sex special schools (for pupils aged 4 to 11 and 11 upwards).

Question: Do you require evidence of my house move?

Answer: No - your application will be processed on the address provided on the application form.

If you know the address you will be moving to on the Island please provide this, along with the date you are expecting to take up residency. This will ensure that your application is processed in accordance with the School Admissions Code.
