Your FAQ

Question: What is the process to apply for a free Disabled Bay?

Answer: Please contact the Highways Department on 823777. Your contact details will be put on a waiting list; due to a large backlog of applications, limited resources and budget restrictions, there is a lengthy waiting list and it is not possible to give timescales as to when a bay will be painted. An application form will be sent to you 1 month prior to your application being processed. Pleses return this without delay to the Highways Department, along with a copy of your blue badge (both sides) and your V5 or mobility cover note. Once this has been received, your bay will be painted within approximately 6 weeks.
