Service Description: Wightcare is an Isle of Wight Council service that provides high quality professional support to enable Island residents to live independently in their own homes. Wightcare are the only Island based service which installs and maintains equipment, monitors calls 24/7 and provides a mobile responder service. With over 25 years experience, our professional service offers peace of mind for people who want to remain in the comfort of their own home but with the reassurance of support being available.

Answer: There is a one off installation charge of £33.10 (plus VAT), weekly charges start from £2.65 per week (plus VAT). For more information on our charges, please call (01983) 821105. If you are registered disabled, or because of your disabilities can become registered disabled you will be exempt from paying VAT for this service. The charge includes the provision of equipment (including a personal pendant) as well as 24 hour a day monitoring from our Newport based Response Centre. *Charge correct as at 1st February 2013 and subject to annual review.
