Your FAQ

Question: Do I have a right of appeal against an exclusion?

Answer: Yes, but only in the case of permanent exclusion which is upheld by the Discipline Committee. If the Headteacher’s decision to permanently exclude your child is upheld you can appeal to an independent committee against the decision. You need to write to the LEA within 15 school days from the Discipline Committee’s decision. You may appeal even if you did not make a case to the Discipline Committee. - Related Link
