Your FAQ

Question: The Council used to issue Medical Exemption permits to GP's to be displayed in their windscreens to allow parking on yellow lines etc in genuine emergencies without fear of being ticketed. This provision subsequently lapsed. Will the Council be re-issuing these permits?

Answer: The Council do not issue medical exemption permits for Doctors or Nurses.
Should a genuine emergency arise (not standard home calls) which result in a penalty charge notice being issued, a representation should be made stating the facts, along with any evidence of the emergency. (The Council will endeavour to be fair and sympathetic in such situations)
