Service Description: The Museum of Island History explores the history of the Isle of Wight from the time of the dinosaurs to the present day. The museum contains touch screen computers, microscopes and hands-on exhibits. The museum has a small gallery where temporary exhibitions are held.

Recent Acquisitions

Each year many new items are added to the museum collection as donations, bequests and purchases. In three cases you can see a small exhibition of some of the artefacts that have recently come into the collection.
