Service Description: Parking Services deal with parking enforcement issues over the Island including pay and display locations and on street parking contraventions. Priority areas are usually those where illegally parked vehicles cause safety issues, congestion and also slow down other road users. Parking services also deal with a variety of parking permits for various schemes over the Island.

Answer: There are no plans to increase the number of blue badge holder parking bays as part of the introduction of Decriminalised Parking Enforcement. The provision of blue badge holder parking is reviewed whenever changes are made to parking controls in the town. The blue badge holder parking spaces that currently exist will be more effectively monitored and enforced to ensure that only blue badge holders use them.
