Question: I have had some work carried out on my property and the amount of rubble produced exceeds the permitted limit, what should I do?

Answer: If you have produced more than the permitted amounts of waste, please see below for alternative disposal sites. Other sites are available and the Council cannot recommend any facilities. Residents should ensure that the sites are appropriately licensed.

Open: 7.30am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri and some Saturdays (phone to check).
Natural slate, bricks, blocks, clean topsoil accepted without charge. Plasterboard, dirty soils and hardcore accepted but charged for.

• Jack Newbery, Lynn Plantation, Briddlesford Road, Newport
(turn left out of Lynnbottom and its 50m on the right hand side)
Open : Mon to Friday 7am to 4.30pm.
Rubble and soils. Charged for.

• HC & PA Foss, 301 Fairlee Road, Newport
Open : Monday to Friday.
Mixed loads of construction demolition waste. All wastes charged.
