Service Description: If you miss a Council Tax Instalment you will receive a reminder notice giving you seven days to bring your Council Tax payments up to date. If you do not pay within this time, or if after a second reminder you fall behind with your payments again, you will be asked to pay the full outstanding balance of your Council Tax bill.

Your FAQ

Question: Why have I been sent a Final Notice for my Council Tax?

Answer: Two reminders have already been issued in a tax year and further instalments have not been paid, or your account has ceased and the final payment has not been made. The right to pay by instalments has been lost and the full amount is now due. To avoid an issue of a summons the amount on the final notice must be paid within seven days. If you have difficulty in making the payment, please contact us.
