Flytipping


Service Description: The council has responsibility for acting on reports of flytipping on council owned land; to both remove the waste and to locate and prosecute the offenders. Where the waste is hazardous the council has a responsibility to ensure public safety until such time as the waste can be removed.

Question: Who do I report flytipping to?

Answer: Flytipping on public land should be reported to the Highways Operational Support 823777 or [email protected] who will arrange for the incident to be investigated and for clearance of the waste.

Flytipping on private land is the responsibility of the private land owner. - Related Link
