Your FAQ

Question: To whom do I report a dead squirrel?

Answer: Statistics are kept on all reported red squirrel deaths which are used for prioritising conservation of the reds. Any dead grey squirrel is a serious matter as greys are not normally found on the Island and will be investigated urgently.

You can send the details of dead red or grey squirrels to the Council's Ecology Service on 823893 or contact Wight Squirrel Project, telephone (01983) 611003. [email protected]
