Service Description: Ventnor Botanic Garden exists to provide a public amenity, for recreation, education and plant conservation. The Botanic Garden on the Isle of Wight is a place where the pleasure of plants can be enjoyed to the fullest, it is also a place where people of all ages can learn more about the wonderful world of plants and the inextricable link that we have with them.

Question: How do I reach the Ventnor Botanic Garden by public transport?

Answer: By Rail : The nearest railway station is Shanklin. From here there is a special Rail link service (No:16) that meets up with the train and goes straight through to St Lawrence stopping at the stopping at the Botanic Garden.
By Bus: Ventnor is the nearest Southern Vectis bus-stop to the gardens. Ventnor is served by No's: 3/3A, 7/7A/7B and 6. Once in Ventnor visitors should change onto the No: 16 Rail link bus, which is currently the only bus to serve the Gardens.
