Service Description: The service is committed to providing customer education to all Island residents. We do this by: - talks to Island organisations - displays - visiting schools - articles in the local newspapers and on radio - producing information leaflets Confidence and awareness allows consumers to make informed choices when buying goods and services.

Question: I have bought defective goods or services. How do I complain?

Answer: You can obtain advice over the telephone from Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06.

If you feel that you would like face to face advice you can call in person at the Trading Standards Service at Jubilee Stores on the Quay at Newport (No appointment is necessary and you should take all relevant documents/information with you).

If you feel that you would like face to face assistance but are unable to visit the Trading Standards Office, please give us your contact details, and a Trading Standards Officer will contact you and make arrangements to see you, possibly at your home. Telephone 01983 823396

The Trading Standards Service is also happy to deal with your query by correspondence or E-mail via [email protected]
