Your FAQ

Question: Do I require planning permission for a dropped kerb?

Answer: If you live in a flat or maisonette, or on a classified (A, B or C) road you will need planning permission for a dropped kerb before you contact the Highways Office to compete your application form.
If you are not sure whether your road is classified then the Highways Office can check this for you. Planning permission forms can be obtained from and should be returned to Council's Planning Services Office at Seaclose Park, Fairlee Road, Newport
