Your FAQ

Question: I would like to do work to a property in a Conservation Area. Do I apply for Planning Permission or Conservation Area Consent?

Answer: You only need to apply for Conservation Area Consent if you are looking to demolish all or the substantial part of an unlisted building within a Conservation Area. Any other works needing consent within a Conservation Area will need Planning Permission.

If you are in any doubt about whether consent is required in any case you should contact the Conservation and Design Team for clarification. - Related Link
