Answer: A workplace or green travel plan is a plan which looks at how staff and customers travel and seeks to offer alternatives to the private motor car. Incentives can include : discounted public transport use, car sharing, pool cars, working from home, flexible working hours and providing facilities to encourage walking and cycling (eg cycle racks, showers, drying facilities). The Council do not have a dedicated Travel Officer but the Transport Policy Section will be happy to give general advice and helpful links. - Related Link
