Your FAQ

Question: What is Supporting People?

Answer: Supporting People is a service for vulnerable people who need help with claiming benefits, avoiding eviction, budgeting, developing life skills and dealing with neighbour disputes. This is done together with local housing authorities, probation, health, registered social landlords and the voluntary and private sectors. The Supporting People team have the job of checking the organisations that provide support on the Island. They manage the provider's contracts, control the funding and pay them, and collect information for the government about the programme. They also look at what new services may be needed. - Related Link
