Question: What are Heritage Open Days?

Answer: Heritage Open Days is a national event that takes place over four days in September and offers free access to buildings and cultural treasures, which are otherwise private or charge for admission. The event is run by the Civic Trust and is supported by English Heritage. The Council's Conservation & Design Team coordinate the event on the Island in partnership with the Civic Trust.
