Question: What is the Council doing to improve the environment?

Answer: The Council’s Countryside Section maintains habitats to allow the Island’s biodiversity (flora and fauna) to flourish. The Council also supports the AONB Partnership, which aims to conserve the beauty of the Island’s most precious landscapes.
