Service Description: Householders with bonded asbestos to dispose of require a permit from IOW Council to be able to take the asbestos to Forest Road Civic Amenity Site. Disposal is available Monday-Wednesday between 8.30-11.30 & 15.00-16.30
Answer: You need a permit from IOW Council to dispose of asbestos. If the total weight is under 60kg, it is free of charge. If the load is over 60kg, you will be charged 30p per kg plus VAT for the whole load. Island Waste only accept credit/debit cards or cheques. NO CASH. You also need to take a utility bill with your name and IOW address.
