Animals - Dead


Service Description: The Isle of Wight Council will arrange for the removal of large and domestic dead animals from all publicly accessible areas. We do not remove small animals such as rabbits, birds, vermin that do not pose a danger/hazard to pedestrians or road users.

Question: Do I contact the Fire Service to report dead animals on the road?

Answer: No, the Fire and Rescue Service do not deal with this, please contact Highways to report instances of dead animals on the road. Highways telephone number is 01983 823777.
