Service Description: Parking Services deal with parking enforcement issues over the Island including pay and display locations and on street parking contraventions. Priority areas are usually those where illegally parked vehicles cause safety issues, congestion and also slow down other road users. Parking services also deal with a variety of parking permits for various schemes over the Island.

Answer: In Moa place, Freshwater and New Road, Lake, up to 30 minutes free parking is given. The Tariff Board advised that to obtain up to 30 minutes free parking, the green button should be pressed on the ticket machine. This ticket covers up to 30 minutes. To park for longer than 30 minutes, the required tariff should be paid (as per the tariff board).
