Your FAQ

Question: I am a tenant and I am concerned that my landlords appliances are defective.

Answer: Do not use the appliance. Contact your landlord immediately and ask them to check it.
Landlords are required by law to have their gas appliances and pipework checked, by a GAS SAFE registered engineer, annually and supply a copy of the results of that check to any existing or new tenants.
If you have reported the problems to your landlord and he/she is not providing a satisfactory response contact the Housing Renewal section for advice on 823040 - Related Link
