Service Description: Engineering Services are responsible for coordinating all roadworks and events which require temporary traffic lights and road closures and diversions.
Answer: To request a road closure, you need to put your request in writing on the road closure application form available from Engineering Services, Enterprise House, St Cross Business Park, Monks Brook, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5WB or email [email protected]. Please note that certain restrictions apply and that a minimum notice of 28 days is required from date of approval before the closure can start.
