Family Learning programmes encourage families to learn together; to gain skills in helping support their children's learning and/or brush up their own skills in reading, writing and maths.

Answer: There are a lot of basic skills courses available on a one-to-one basis or within a very small group. Many are free of charge if you are on benefits or have a low income.
