Your FAQ

Question: Do I need permission to do works to trees in a Conservation Area?

Answer: You might do. In a conservation area you normally need consent to do any works to any tree which is over 7.5cm in diameter at 1.5m above the ground. If you are not sure whether your tree needs permission you should apply anyway - there is no charge. To apply or to check whether or not you need permission you should contact the Trees Section or see the website below. - Related Link
