Your FAQ

Question: I have taken over licensed premises. What action must I take?

Answer: You must transfer the premises licence into your name:
Forms required: (a) Application to Transfer a Premises Licence
(b) Consent Form to Transfer
Fee: £23.00

Forms are available from the Licensing department on 01983 823159 or online from the link below
This whole application must be copied to the Police Licensing Unit at the Police Station, High Street, Newport, IW
Unless the existing Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) is remaining at the premises you require a Personal Licence Holder to be specified as the DPS, and must apply to vary the DPS.

For the sale of alcohol, the premises licence is not valid without a DPS who holds a valid Personal licence. You must Vary the licence to specify an individual as the DPS. Please see separate FAQ to find out how to vary the licence. - Related Link
