Your FAQ

Question: Why do schools exclude pupils?

Answer: The Headteacher is responsible in law for the standards of behaviour and discipline in school. Sometimes pupils behave in ways which disrupt offend or cause distress to other pupils and staff. As a last resort headteachers may use exclusion from school in order to solve this problem and protect the safety, welfare and education of other pupils. - Related Link
