This is done by prompt reporting of incidents, ensuring that emissions from industries controlled by the Council are properly controlled and by preventing pollution of water by dealing with any contamination of land.

If the water clears from the bottom up, then the cloudiness is caused by tiny air bubbles, is a normal occurrence and is nothing to worry about. If your water clears from the top down, or doesn’t clear at all, contact your water supplier, and report your concerns. The water company will investigate and take any necessary action.
