Your FAQ

Question: Do I have to keep a record of what I have spent?

Answer: For the first 8 weeks after the initial payment you will be required to keep a record of how you have spent your personal budget. You will also be required to provide bank statements and/or receipts as evidence. If after 8 weeks you are managing your personal budget well you will only be asked to provide bank statements after 6 months. If however, you are having difficulty managing your personal budget we will look to help you with this and may therefore need to see further records to assist with this.
