Answer: You must transfer the premises licence into your name: Forms required: (a) Application to Transfer a Premises Licence (b) Consent Form to Transfer Fee: £23.00 Forms are available from the Licensing department on 01983 823159 or online from the link below This whole application must be copied to the Police Licensing Unit at the Police Station, High Street, Newport, IW Unless the existing Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) is remaining at the premises you require a Personal Licence Holder to be specified as the DPS, and must apply to vary the DPS. For the sale of alcohol, the premises licence is not valid without a DPS who holds a valid Personal licence. You must Vary the licence to specify an individual as the DPS.
