Service Description: People who provide board for other people's cats/dogs must have an 'animal boarding establishment' licence.

Also known as:- Cattery, Kennels, Licence - Boarding Animals

Question: For how long is an Animal Boarding Establishment licence valid, and is there a charge?

Answer: A licence for an animal boarding establishment lasts for a year from the date of issue, and for 2006-2007, the charge is £145.00 plus any fees charged by the veterinary inspector for inspecting the premises. (This inspection is compulsory).
