Service Description: We process applications for the construction of dropped kerbs, also known as vehicle crossings.

Your FAQ

Question: Does the Council have any fees relating to dropped kerb applications?

Answer: The Council require a non-refundable inspection fee of £159.50 to cover the cost of inspection fees made before, during and after the work on the dropped kerb is done.
The Council requires a deposit paid in advance - current deposits are: single vehicle crossing = £200, double vehicle crossing = £300, whole frontage crossing = £500. Deposits are returned upon satisfactory final inspection once the work has been completed.
