Answer: To become a Matron, you will need to apply to the Education Welfare Service based at Thompson House, Sandy Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 3NA. You will need to return the form which you will need to send back with references from 2 people, 2 passport photos and due to the nature of the role all applicants must provide proof of having been cleared through the CRB process. You must apply within 21 days of the performance date with all the required evidence and information. You cannot chaperone without it, and you will need to re-apply every year. - Related Link
