Your FAQ

Question: What happens if my child has a poor record of attendance?

Answer: Parents would have normally received notification from the school or the Education Welfare Officer about their child’s poor school attendance record. If there is no improvement in the child’s school attendance record, parents will receive an official warning letter explaining the legal consequences of continued poor attendance. Failure to improve the child’s attendance may result in the parents being prosecuted.
