Service Description: The Early Interventions Service works together with 8-18 year olds and their families to try and prevent offending or re-offending behaviour, help them to avoid entering the youth justice system and promote positive futures for these young people.

Answer: No. A young person may be unknown to the police, but identified as being at risk of offending or anti-social behaviour. We will also work with young people who are known to the police but have not entered the youth justice system beyond receiving a police reprimand.
