Answer: If the card is less than 2 months old (either an original or a renewed pass) a replacement will be issued free of charge. The faulty pass should be returned to the Isle of Wight Council once the new card is received (this is to allow us to return the pass to the manufacturer for testing). If the pass is more than 2 months old, then a replacement fee of £10.00 is charged; this is because it is likely to be the fault of the user that the card is not working correctly.
