Reference Library


Service Description: The Reference Library is situated in the Lord Louis Library in Newport. Our books are not for loan and consist mainly of encyclopaedias, dictionaries, statistics and other similar types. Other facilities include the Family History Centre, public access computers, UK telephone books and some national newspapers. The staff will answer enquiries received in person or by phone, e-mail or letter.

Question: Where can I find information about Family History?

Answer: The Reference Library in Newport contains the Family History Centre which includes records for the whole of England and Wales. You can book a microfiche reader for an hour at a time, by phoning the Reference Library (823800).
