Your FAQ

Question: How can I dispose of a fridge or freezer from my business?

Answer: Fridges and freezers built specifically for commercial purposes are not accepted any any of the three household waste recycling centres on the island. Arrangements should be made with a private waste contractor to collect and dispose of the unit and there may be a charge for this service. Such contractors advertise in the local press and telephone books.
Businesses cannot use the collection service provided by the Isle of Wight Council nor can they dispose of the units at any of the Household Waste Recycling Centres, which are strictly licensed for household waste only.
