Your FAQ

Question: Why do we need foster homes for children?

Answer: There are many different reason why children need to be placed in foster care. Children may be removed from their family home because of neglect or abuse, parental drug or alcohol misuse, but those are not the only reasons. Sometimes parents are unable to care for their children safely or adequately owing to circumstances beyond their control, such as mental illness, trauma, the break up of a marriage or relationship.
