Trading Standards - Advice

Service Description: Our Fair Trading Team give advice on shopping problems e.g. faulty goods and services, and non-delivery. Advice is a very important function. Sometimes the enquiries can be about major purchases involving large sums of money. We also give information about scams, for example, offers of holidays that never take place. We talk to traders as well as consumers, to make sure they understand the law and know their legal obligations.
